Summer in Washington

We been hanging around the Kitsap Peninsula the past few weeks. We have spent most of our time in State Parks along Hood Canal but now we're at the Bremerton Elks. They have a nice RV park and a beautiful location looking west to the Olympic Mountains and a spectacular view of Dyes Inlet which runs from Bremerton to Silverdale, WA.

We have had a number of routine medical checkups here as Anne prepares to go on Medicare in July. Don has had a chance to visit some of his machine tools that are "stored" in friend's shops and has come home with aluminum chips in his hair and clothing on more than one occasion. The grand kids are getting something from the shop for Christmas!

Tomorrow we put the Jeep in tow and head for the ocean. We are going to meet Anne's daughter and son-in-law in Ocean Shores for the Fourth of July weekend at the Quinault Indian Casino. After the Fourth we have a stop to get the tile flooring replaced in the motor home before we head north again to explore the Olympic Peninsula. It is kind of nice to be able to go where we want and when we want.

Sorry we have no new pictures today but the media drivers still don't work on the computer since it crashed! We promise to fix that. Should have some great beach pictures next week!
