On the Road Again!

It is October. The trees are turning beautiful colors and the rain is upon us. It was time to leave. After spending five weeks as guests of the Elk lodge in Bremerton we headed south yesterday but we didn't get very far. We encountered a 13 mile backup on I-5 south of Olympia and it took at least three hours to travel those 13 miles. A horrible accident involving two fatalities was the cause of the delay. Evidently the heavy rain we encountered caused one vehicle to lose control during sudden braking. Such a tragedy. Monday morning we will leave our motor home while new carpet is installed. We will spend three days at the ocean while that work is being done. We will be back in the Valley of the sun before long.

Fall is a beautiful time of year. We are currently in Minnesota and the trees have been awesome.

Were you able to pull off the road during the I-5 accident or just sit in a traffic line?

Enjoy reading your blog and hope we can meet sometime. Pat Jeter
