Independence Day

Escapade is over and now we can relax for a couple of days before we get back on the road. Gillette has a great fireworks show and the Cam-Plex center where we are is a good spot to see the show. We had friends over and sat out in front of our motor home and watched the pyrotechnics. Too much fun!
Tomorrow many rigs will be leaving although some will stay another two days as we will. The two days will give us a chance to do laundry, some grocery shopping and get an oil change for our Jeep. Maybe there will also be time to go fishing if all the errands are done first. Our next destination will be Yellowstone although it will take a few days to get there as we have some stops planned, Thermopolis and Cody. We will probably be in Yellowstone for a week before we turn south.
We have connected with a group of Escapees called the Mexican Connection. They do a lot of traveling in Mexico. We are planning on going there for a few weeks in February. We expect that we may have as many as 100 rigs making the trek.
Hope you're having a great summer.
